I was allowed to take some photos before they left, and I hope they don't mind if I go ahead and post these before they get the chance to post their own. They are under orders to take lots of pics at the dance, so I'll be back with more!
This is old hat for Andrew, but it's Eler Beth's first "grown-up" party!
There was a plane going over.
My cutie-pie!
My other cutie-pie!
I sat on a wasp first thing this morning, so I told her, "Don't sniff a bee up your nose!"
"My heels are sticking in the ground!"

Oh my they are all grown up. Nice pictures.
I love the dress. Eler Beth looks very beautiful. You all did a good job of picking one. I enjoyed the photos.
It's that same ole tug-of-war our own Moms delt with isn't it? You want them to grow up--but you don't! You want them to be independent--but you want them to still need you! I have three grown daughters of my own, so I know these feelings well!...Your children are beautiful! Such nice warm smiles they have. Thank you for sharing this with us.___=^..^=___Kittie
I'm so glad the weather held out for them. What a handsome couple. I love the dress. Your daughter looks stunning in it. And I like the hat her date is wearing. They grow up so-ooo fast. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY too.
Thank you! But that's not her date, that's our son Andrew! lol He was going to the same formal, and they let me take their photos before they left. Eler Beth isn't allowed to date yet, and thankfully, although she has a crush on a couple of guys -- with both of whom she got to dance on Saturday! -- she is not in any hurry to be exclusive with anyone, which I think is right at her age. This was a formal given by friends of ours, and included a group of around 30 young ones, ranging in age from 14 to 22, most of them friends and/or acquaintances of one another already, but there were a few not from nearby, so there were some new friends made. I don't usually write about Andrew's private life on here, especially his girlfriends or crushes. At the moment he is officially unattached, although I think there is someone in his mind -- sort of an on-again-off-again thing with them. But I pretty much stay out of it! lol
They looked fab, Lori. Hope it all went well!
Forgive my mistake about your son. I'm glad a good time was had by all.

Goodness time is flying - they both look so grown up!! The dress is gorgeous and they both fantastic.
Ok, now is the age to install secret listening devices in all her formalwear.
Seriously, she is beautiful & looks very happy.
Wow, they really are all grown up now! It's amazing that we've been blogging so that that we've been able to watch each others children go from little ones to grown ups!
Thanks for stopping by to "like" my blog, LOL! It's always so good to hear from you. Have a great weekend :-)
I keep forgetting to come over to your blog. Bad blogging friend! I've said it before...gorgeous children! Don't let them get any older, okay?
