I'm doing better than last month, although I still feel more anxious and depressed than what should be normal. I have gone to my doctor and we are trying various things. We are in agreement that peri-menopause is playing a large role in how I am feeling.
Eler Beth and I are getting ready to go on our annual road trip, and this time we are going to Toronto. We leave Thursday. I know I will enjoy the trip once I'm on the road, but I would so much rather just be home! I won't let her know that, though.

Been through the peri-menopause and it's a tough time for sure. Getting away will do wonders for your frame of mind. Have a great time on your road trip.
Wishing you and Eler Beth a good trip and hope it makes you feel better.
Road trip, leisurely road trip, is a good way to refocus. I trust you'll refresh and enjoy yourself. All my best wishes.
Hang in there, dear! I'm on the other side now and it is awesome! Come back and let us hear about your trip.

Lori, I've not been blogging or reading in forever, but I am glad I found your blog again. I just read several of your past entries.
I am sorry for the depression you are experiencing, but I know that Thomas & the kids will help you though...just the very love you feel for them...heck, just the fact of them, plus some hopefully good meds. You are a wonderful person, Lori.
